Rehab treatment centres permit certain things and prohibit certain items; you should know the policy of your rehab treatment facility beforehand.
Treatment centres are enforcing stringent rules when it comes to contrabands and prohibited objects inside the facility. These prohibited items will be outlined in a form before come in so you are aware.
Following your arrival at the treatment centre, you are required to check in and initiate the admission process. During this time, the admissions team belonging to the centres will inspect your belongings to ensure safety and to understand whether any prohibited items are also included. A checklist is provided by some clinics to make sure no items are forgot once treatment is over.
You can carry the necessities with yourself. This policy though may differ from one treatment centre to another.
If you are not sure about bringing an item or have any questions about what you should be packing you should be having a look on the website of the rehab for a "what to bring" page. You can check the FAQs if such packing information does not have a dedicated webpage. You can do your packing with packing specifications that some clinics provide. Calling the rehab centre is an option in case you can't find packing information anywhere on the site. They will be able to provide you all the answers to any questions you may have about what you can bring. They can also provide you the information regarding the procedure for the admission along with providing you an explanation for their policies if you have any concerns.
